The Alumni Association will be hosting an Open House for alumni, family and friends. We would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, November 14th at 5pm.
After many years on the drawing board, the Alumni Association began the extensive task of renovating the Fraternity house. We are now in the final week of a six month renovation. This completed phase is the first of what is a three phase plan to renovate and expand the Fraternity House over the next 10-15 years.
With a Beta Zeta Alumni who is a local Edmond builder (Jonathon Little of Capstone Homes) acting as our General Contractor, we invested $125,000 into this first phase. Our main focus was on updating the windows, bathrooms, bedrooms, HVAC, sprinkler system, exterior facade and preparing the house for an eventual extension. We completely gutted 60% of the house and reframed a completely new bathroom and bedroom layout consisting of mostly double occupancy rooms.
Our second phase will focus on the kitchen and living room portion of the house. The kitchen will be moved to make room for a larger chapter room and prepare for phase three.
Our last phase will be an eventual extension of the fraternity house to add an additional 6 bedrooms and double our occupancy.
