Mission:

To actively promote academic achievement among
Beta Zeta members through a locally governed scholarship.

During the Fall of 2003, The Beta Zeta Endowment was created to provide an additional benefit for current and future generation of Beta Zeta members. Currently in is infant stage, the endowment will provide interest income from donated funds to be used for scholarships within the chapter.

The Endowment Board, composed of both active and alumni members, was created to determine the goals and procedures for the issuance of the scholarships. The Endowment Board oversees the disbursement and management of the funds in conjunction with the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation. Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation is an approved 501(c)(3) organization with the IRS, which allows for donations to be fully tax deductible for income tax purposes.

By pulling from UCO’s largest fraternity alumni base, Beta Zeta is primed to be the first fraternity at the University of Central Oklahoma to administer its own local scholarship fund. Our chapter understands that we need to proactively pursue expanding our programs to keep up with UCO's staggering growth. We know that with our dedication to this goal we will be successful in leading this effort and able to provide more benefit for our members.

During this infancy stage of the Endowment we can only begin to start to imagine the advantages this endowment will bring to our chapter. Not only will it advance our chapter's goal of superior academic ranking among IFC through the recruitment of academically focus members, but also an asset in securing favorable financing for any future construction or major house improvements.

Not only does donating to Beta Zeta’s endowment fund directly benefit our specific chapter, but it also earns the donor recognition in our chapter’s newsletter and website. Donating is easy as well; either through PayPal, which is as simple as e-mail, or with a check in the mail.
