Next Month, our Chapter begins its 51st year and in June our National Fraternity celebrates it's 90th. In celebration, the Alumni Association invites you and your family to join us on Thursday, May 13th at the Bricktown Ballpark. This night is also the Oklahoma City RedHawks' famous "Thirsty Thursday"; $1 draws of select beers. On the day of the game, tickets are $15/person for Field Box Seats. We will be prepurchasing group tickets in advance for $10/person. Opening pitch is at 7:05pm. A reminder email will be sent the first week of May.

Sigma Tau Gamma will be hosting it's 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, April 24th, 2009. Format is 4x4 tournament (no more then 2 subs). Registration is $15/player.

Sigma Tau Gamma's national philanthropy is Book for Kids, to which a portion of the proceeds will be donated.

Originally started in 2004, the Beta Zeta Alumni Association began soliciting for donations to create an endowment to sponsor scholarships within the Chapter. This past year we achieved our first milestone, becoming a fully funded "Heritage Fund" with the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation, with a minimum deposit of $10,000.

The Alumni Association will be hosting an Open House for alumni, family and friends. We would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, November 14th at 5pm.

After many years on the drawing board, the Alumni Association began the extensive task of renovating the Fraternity house. We are now in the final week of a six month renovation. This completed phase is the first of what is a three phase plan to renovate and expand the Fraternity House over the next 10-15 years.

Sigma Tau Gamma will be hosting an inaugural golf tournament fundraiser, and we as a chapter plan on it being one of the greatest events of the year!

The University has set a date for Homecoming, October 3rd, 2009. Mark your calendar and make plans to attend.

Less then 4 weeks remain before the Sig Tau Alumni Golf Tournament and Founder's Day Luncheon. Included in this post is a list of those alumni and active members who have RSVP to date.

In anticipation of our 50th Anniversary, close to 500 postcard invitations were mailed out to Beta Zeta alumni. We will be celebrating Founder's Day with a golf tournament and lunch banquet.
