Less then 4 weeks remain before the Sig Tau Alumni Golf Tournament and Founder's Day Luncheon. Included in this post is a list of those alumni and active members who have RSVP to date.

For those of you that plan on joining us, please take a second to RSVP so that we can get a more accurate count for how many teams and how much catering we need to plan on. Please RSVP before May 9th. Also, remember that Family and Friends are also invited to both events.

In anticipation of our 50th Anniversary, close to 500 postcard invitations were mailed out to Beta Zeta alumni. We will be celebrating Founder's Day with a golf tournament and lunch banquet. Sigma Tau Gamma will be hosting it's 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament on Sunday, April 26th, 2009. The tournament will be a 3 on 3 format. Registration is $45 per team or $15/player for teams with more then 3 players. Cash and Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

Sigma Tau Gamma's national philanthropy is Book for Kids, to which the proceeds will be donated. Teams that bring 5 children's books to the event will receive a $10 discount off of their team fee.

You can help to sponsor academic and leadership growth within the Beta Zeta chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma. The Beta Zeta Heritage Fund provides individual scholarships for those members who best adhere to the values that Sigma Tau Gamma endeavors to promote.

A committee has been formed to help launch an Oklahoma City Alumni Chapter. This would be completely separate from our Alumni Association and would be open to all Sigma Tau Gamma's that live within the Oklahoma City area. The Chapter would be a solely social organization for networking and fun.

Continuing a long precedence of excellence, the Beta Zeta chapter came home from Regionals this past February with 4 major National awards and 2 regional awards.
